As per the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, pregnant women should have one serving or less of white sucker fish during pregnancy. This recommendation is based on the mercury levels found in sucker fish. However, there are many types of sucker fish and it is advisable to consult a doctor before including any variant of it in your pregnancy diet.
