Most sources consider lime to be safe for pregnant women. It is a rich source of vitamin C, a nutrient essential for wound healing, smooth digestion and bone development. Ideally, you should be fine if you stick to 1-1.5 cups of lime juice a day. However, every pregnancy is unique, and your body may respond differently to different kinds of food. Hence, it is important to check with your doctor before including more than that amount of lime in your pregnancy diet.
