Olive oil is known to have high levels of vitamin E, a nutrient essential for babies to fight against the oxidative stress which is caused by entering an oxygen atmosphere. As per the Olive International Council, “it has been demonstrated that the post-natal development of babies and mothers who consumed olive oil when pregnant is better in terms of height, weight, behaviour and psychomotor reflexes.”
