It is a rich source of niacin, proteins and vitamin B12 along with a whole lot of other nutrients. Niacin or vitamin B3 is essential for pregnant women. It can improve digestion, reduce nausea and take the edge off excruciating migraines. Hence, pregnant women should aim for an intake of 18 mg of niacin everyday during pregnancy.
