Why should I include almonds in my pregnancy diet

Almonds are one of the most nutritious nuts on the planet. They are packed with vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, iron, folate and vitamins E and B6, which are essential for pregnant women. As per the guidelines provided by the Food and Drug Administration, pregnant women should aim for 1000 mg of calcium everyday. To achieve this, they need to have atleast 3-4 servings of calcium rich foods. Almonds are rich in calcium and can be an effective way to add this nutrient to your pregnancy diet.
