Having black beans during pregnancy helps in the growth of fetal and brain tissue. It also helps in the growth of breast and uterine tissue in the expecting mother and plays a critical role in improving blood supply. The daily requirement of protein for pregnant women is 75-100 grams a day and black beans can be a good way to meet that requirement.
