What are the nutritional benefits of having oranges

According to the American Pregnancy Association, vitamin C is essential for pregnant women. It will promote wound healing, tooth and bone development, and metabolic processes. Experts recommend at least 85 milligrams per day during pregnancy. Oranges are rich in vitamin C and hence can be included in your pregnancy diet. As per the study published by the National Center for Biotechnology (NCBI), proper vitamin C intake can reduce the chances of preterm labor or Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes (PPROM). Hence, oranges can be a great addition to your pregnancy diet.
