What are the benefits of having croaker fish during pregnancy

The FDA considers the Atlantic croaker fish to be one of the best choices for pregnant women as it one of the fishes with lower levels of mercury. In fact, pregnant women should have 2-3 servings (1 serving equals 4 ounces) of fish every week to fulfill their protein, Omega-3, folate and other nutritional requirements.
However, there are some variants of croaker fish like the white croaker that contain slightly higher levels of mercury. Although they are not considered to be harmful, it is recommended that you consult your doctor before eating white croaker during the 9 months.
